In April 2007 The Worthing
Photographic society membership chose to change its name to The Worthing
Camera and Digital Club. This change reflects the modern nature of the club
and its membership. The club was originally called the Worthing and District
Camera Club and was formed on 26th April 1904, and from the start of the
1905-1906 season had its own darkroom.
Whilst the name and venue may have changed over the
years the club remains one of the friendliest in the country. We welcome new
members and through our regular schedule of club competitions, outings,
practical demonstration evenings and events, we are all learning to improve
our art.
The 2010/11 Season looks sure to be one of the best
yet. If you are an experienced photographer or new to this great medium
please drop us a line and come and see us.
The Season begins in September - Meetings are
on Tuesday evenings at the Quaker Meeting House, 34 Mill Road, Worthing,
BN11 5DR at 7:00pm - Map link below.
